Todd began his journalism career as a reporter, editor and photographer for the Omaha Sun, but he has been in education for many years. Since 1975, he has taught 26 different classes at six different schools. Before coming to K-State in 1997, Todd taught at the George Washington University Law School and the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He has held faculty positions at Michigan State University and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He served as the director of the Miller School from 1997-2004. Todd has also worked about eight years freelance in public relations and journalism. He has enjoyed a variety of hobbies over the years including hockey and rose breeding, but even though he was born in Nebraska, he has never been a Cornhusker fan.
