JMC Curriculum Guide: Degree Requirements

JMC students have the option of completing Arts and Sciences curriculum requirements for either the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree or the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. The two degrees are identical except for math, science, and foreign language requirements.

Expository Writing I
Expository Writing II
Public Speaking
Fine Arts
Philosophy
Western Heritage
Literary/Rhetorical Arts
Macroeconomics
Social Science
Advanced Social Science
Life Science with Lab
Physical Science with Lab
Life or Physical Science
18 credits of General Education courses
Plus Choose One:
Bachelor of Science
1 advanced science
3 courses in math, logic, computer science or statistics
1 international overlay.
Bachelor of Arts
No more science
1 math course
A 4-course sequence in the same foreign language.
